	Birch Bolete Leccinum scabrum
	There are orange and brown birch boletes that grow in our area. They both tend to be found on birches, usually on stumps or fallen logs. They are both good eating, especially in soups or stews. Be sure to check for maggots before picking because they seem to attract them.
