	Blueberries Vaccinium myrtillis
	A favorite of northwoods berry-pickers and a real back breaker. It is often said that the only way to pick these berries is to bring a lawn chair, a six-pack, and several kids to do the picking. Usually found in late-spring and into early-summer in wooded open areas. They prefer acid soil with a high moisture content. A dry spring well severely curtail wild blueberry growth.
