This is also known as the saffron milk cap and delicious milky cap in our area. It is not a common mushroom, but when found is prized by many 'schroomers. It grows among pines and is found in autumn, but seems to required heavy rains for it to appear. Two ID factors are that it will stain greenish-blue when handled and the top has a noticeable indentation.

Warning: This mushroom is in a family that includes several poisonous relatives. Careful identification is required.
